Here at National Engineering we do things differently. We aren't an engineering firm divided among ourselves with distinctions placed on the differences between engineering fields, rather a collective whole, we feel that experience best comes through working on a broad range of elements. Every engineer at National Engineering is trained to be competent in all aspects of a project. We find this to be a much more efficient and flexible way of working. With our team members having such broad knowledge of any given project it allows for easier and more open communication between the client and the consultant, plus this environment offers a unique opportunity to shift workload with each project. This cross-training also offers the client an efficiency during field observations. Rather than requiring multiple team members to evaluate different systems, one engineer can look at all the systems together.

Rich has been working as an engineer for over 20 years. As a mechanical engineer he has specialized in HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection in commercial, institution and industrial buildings. Mike Chapman, PE - Engineer
Mike is experienced in the design of both mechanical and electrical systems. He graduated from the Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science degree for Mechanical Engineering. Mike serves as project manager for many of National Engineering's commercial projects.
Katie Lemler, EI - Engineer
Katie's experience includes plumbing and HVAC design for restaurants and educational facilities. She is an Engineer Intern as recorded by the State of Indiana and is a graduate from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
